This is our first major release in 2025. This year, we plan to upgrade our code base to improve overall user experience and processing speed. This release includes the refreshed code base supporting the Financial Coach and Counselor Portal. Here are some of the key highlights of the changes:
Financial Coach and Counselor Portal
New Dashboard with Quick Links to Urgent Tasks and Search Functions
A new dashboard has been created to guide users to tackle the most urgent tasks as soon as they login. Tasks for a counselor to approve new client connection requests, provide the required verification for a client as part of their loan application, and review loans that require immediate attention (delinquent or other issues) are summarized on the top of the page with one-click access to related pages. In addition, the Quick Search and Shortcuts allow users to quickly find the information they look for.
Enhanced Page Design to Improve Ease of Navigation
The new page layout improves the organization of the portal with a new left side navigation menu and a top level tab structure for user to easily toggle between multiple pages and tasks.
Dedicated Client Connection Requests Page
New client connection requests have been extracted from the Messages page to occupy a dedicated page. Keeping such requests on a dedicated page will help counselors avoid missing new clients' connection requests.
The Messages page will continue to display system notices as well as communication with clients.
