This release includes a number of UI improvements on the Consumer and Small Business User Portal for guiding the users through the steps of adding, verifying, and linking a payment account for ACH payment. In addition, we added new functions on the Institution Portal that will further increase payment management flexibility. We have also added a new interface for submitting requests for manual data updates to help ensure all manual data changes are fully documented.
Consumer and Small Business User Portal
Improved UI to Guide Users through Payment and Payment Account Management Steps
The following changes have been made to help guide users in completing the process for setting up ACH payment on the portal.
- Additional user alerts on the dashboard page
- "Add Account", "Link Account", "Verify Account" alert to indicate that an active loan (with Smart ACH for repayment) is not properly linked with a functioning payment account, leading user to take appropriate actions on the account management page.
- "30D", "60D" to indicate a late or missing payment, leading user to make a payment immediately or seek help.
- "Attention Required" to indicate multiple failed payment or aborted payment attempts, leading user to make a payment immediately or seek help.
- New prompts to help users complete the process of adding and linking a new payment account
- New pop-up window when a user tries to add a payment account that has already been added through online banking again through micro deposit with prompts that lead the user to use the existing account as payment source instead of adding a new one.
- New pop-up window upon a payment account being successfully added with prompts that lead the users to link the new payment account to an existing loan. See screenshot below.

New Function for Payment Management: "Temporarily Reduce Payment"
This is a new tool to respond to borrowers' request for temporary payment relief. The loan portfolio manager can create a new payment schedule with a fixed reduced payment amount for a period up to 12 months before resuming the contractual payment amount. You can find more information on this new feature in the related help article.
Track and Manage Manual Data Update Requests
To track manual data change requests, we created a new page for submitting such requests on the portal. Institutional users can use this page to submit, edit, review the status and track manual data change requests.
