In this release, we began our integration with AWS Rekognition, implemented new security measures, and broke down ACH transfer payment into segments to enhance reporting transparency.
Consumer and Small Business Portal
1. Integration with AWS Rekognition
AWS Rekognition is an image recognition software. Our first application of this software is in determining whether an applicant has uploaded a valid personal ID. We plan to expand the use of this software to other applications on the Happy Mango platform.
2. Additional security measure to deny access to unwanted visitors
To filter out unwanted visitors to Happy Mango, we implemented another layer of detection during the sign-in process. The majority of our users will not be affected by this security measure at all. However, if a new user signs in with a VOIP mobile phone number and an unconventional IP address, we will ask for additional verification before creating the new user account.
Institutional Portal
1. Payment Status Breakdown
A standard ACH transfer takes up to 5 business days. In addition, Happy Mango has implemented additional procedures before and after an ACH transfer. We added a "Transfer Log" tab to the loan payment page to clearly indicate the status of each payment transfer along the following 7-step process:
- Creation (Happy Mango)
- Inspection (Happy Mango)
- Submission (transfer request from Happy Mango to Dwolla)
- Sending from Origination Account(Dwolla)
- Receiving into Destination Account (Dwolla)
- Completion (Dwolla)
- Booking (Happy Mango)
On the Smart ACH Initiated page, we separated the transfers by type and displayed more detailed status description. To ensure page loading speed, we have trimmed the data display from past 90 days to past 30 days on this page.
